Notes 28 Sep

We came to this world as experiencers, but our true purpose is to stop experiencing it - liberation happens only when one ceases to be moved by anything this world offers

2.  The mind is like a magnet that pulls in every experience, emotion, and attachment from the material world, creating layers of negativity that trap us in endless cycles of suffering

3.  The mind must die completely for the spirit to be born - only when mental chatter stops can the subtle soul operate the brain with the precision of a perfectly functioning machine

4.  Master's energy is the most powerful force available, but it can only work when we stop resisting it through our own efforts, desires, and mental interference

5.  Divine love (Anbe Chivam) is the most profound transformation that happens automatically as a byproduct of the spiritual journey - one doesn't practice it, one becomes it

6.  This love has no attachment because it expects nothing back, no detachment because it rejects nothing, and no pain because it loses nothing

7.  When Chivam speaks, positive vibrations flow from him naturally, making it impossible for anyone to feel anger or negativity

8.  In divine love, one gives love to others not to experience anything in return, but because love has become one's very nature - like how the sun shines not for reward, but because shining is what the sun is

9.  When love comes from experiences and emotions, it carries hatred within it because the same mind that loves can hate when hurt, but divine love flows from purity beyond experience and therefore never changes or stops

10.Learn to say "no" with complete courage when something doesn't align with truth - fear of saying no creates weakness, while honest boundaries create spiritual strength

11.Accept every single event in life as beneficial for growth - this acceptance draws maximum energy from the Master and accelerates transformation

12.Physical eyes drag us into the material world, but the inner eye (Aga kannu) takes one deep within where true reality exists

13.The Chivality system is remarkably simple - it requires only two things from the seeker: maintain silence and remember the Master consistently

14.Unlike other spiritual paths with complex rituals, years of scripture study, or difficult practices, this system works through surrender rather than effort

15.Everything else - transformation, purification, liberation - happens automatically through Master's energy when one stops interfering with the process

16.This simplicity is the system's greatest strength because divine energy can work without obstruction when personal effort and resistance are removed

17.Stay connected to the Master no matter what chaos surrounds in the material world - this connection must remain steady while everything else fluctuates

18.Watch experiences diminish one by one like leaves falling from a tree - each lost experience is actually a step closer to ultimate freedom

19.When one begins to feel blank, emotionless, and unaffected by both pleasure and pain, recognize this as a sacred sign - this blankness is not emptiness but the fullness of liberation approaching

Notes 23 Sep

 NAMACHIVAAYAM 🌙

1. One should destroy the impurities of the mind and become Akalanka (without any impurities ).

2. Generally, people leave the materialistic world in search of spirituality. In Chivality, one has to destroy the mind and can stay anywhere.

3. Just as one stays in the hospital until an infection is cured, one must practice silence until mano nasha (destruction of mind) happens.

4. Both the conscious and subconscious mind have to be cleared for mano nasha.

5. To experience the power within, people usually do Tapas. In Chivality, one receives help from the Master.

6. One should remain in silence as much as possible.

7. The capacity to remain in silence indicates that the mind is destroyed.

8. The quality of the mind is such that if the body is working, the mind also gets involved. But if one remains in silence and remembers the Master, one receives the Master’s energy.

9. Just as a person receives salary for doing work, one receives energy by remaining in silence.

10. Mindfulness means focusing your mind on the work.

11. Masterfulness means remaining in silence and not using the mind.

12. While working, if you don’t feel tired, it means the inner energy is functioning.

13. A vehicle charges (by electricity or fuel) when it is not moving. Similarly, the mind receives energy when the mind, brain, and body are still.

14. It is suggested to sit silently for 5 to 10 minutes every hour before resuming work.

15. Even after death, you can remember the Master.

16. It is possible for everyone to become Energisers. Energisers have sufficient peace within themselves to transfer peace to others.

17. Introspect yourself—do you maintain the attitude of “Okay, leave it” in everything?

18. The activities of the mind must be reduced. If there are thoughts, energy cannot work freely.

19. If the mind is at peace, it will restrict unnecessary thinking of the brain.

20. As long as your mind remains undisturbed, you can live anywhere.

21. The sookshma shareera (subtle body) will go to the brighter world after death.

22. This bhoomi (earth) is a training center for improving purity.

23. Pitru loka is the place for wandering souls.

24. If you realize “Who am I?”, you will know you have no connection with the world.

25. Our original quality is not getting affected by anything.

26. Affected persons are humans; unaffected persons are divine. Humans cannot accept divine personalities (those with unaffected nature).

27. Create permanent peace before you die. Happiness or unhappiness depends on circumstances, but peace requires nothing to happen.

28. For any problem in the body, do not mind. Then immunity increases, and diseases may be cured.

29. It is the mind itself—not family or job—that causes disturbance.

30. If you can say, “My vehicle (body) is not fine, but I am always fine,” it means you have realized.

Notes 21 Sep

 1) The ultimate purpose of life is to realize that you are spirit, but most people remain unaware of this truth because their minds are filled with negativity and  thoughts that cloud their vision.

2) When you truly realize your spiritual nature, death becomes a gateway to eternal bliss rather than suffering. Your soul will be at peace, and there will be no need for death rituals because you have already transcended the cycle of fear and attachment.

3) To become one with your true spiritual self, you must empty out all the negativity within you and disconnect from material attachments. This doesn't mean running away from the world, but rather maintaining inner stillness no matter what happens outside.

4) The issue lies in depending on external things for your happiness - whether it's people, possessions, or circumstances. When you tie your peace to these things, you create  risk of suffering because everything in the material world is temporary and unpredictable.

5) Practice detachment by not being affected by outcomes, even positive ones. If you feel proud when your child gets first rank in school, or worried when they struggle with studies, train yourself to remain equally calm in both situations. This builds your spiritual strength and reduces dependency on external conditions.

6) Your mind naturally creates thoughts about the future and builds expectations, but unfulfilled desires become seeds of suffering. You may work hard to build a beautiful home, but suddenly face financial loss or family tragedy - life rarely goes according to our plans, so holding onto fixed desires becomes a source of pain.

7) As you reduce negativity within yourself, disturbing thoughts automatically decrease. A positive mind is naturally drawn to spiritual company and teachings, while a negative mind finds excuses to avoid them.

8) Learn to find your own way to remain undisturbed without disturbing others. If someone creates noise during your meditation, move away like a wise sage rather than fighting. Progress to the point where even external chaos cannot shake your inner silence.

9) Just as your body needs food, your soul needs peace. The dead cannot be satisfied with material offerings - they need the peace that only comes from someone who has realized their own spiritual nature.

10) There are levels of inner silence: from having passing thoughts, to small thoughts, to no thoughts, and finally to complete stillness where you merge with the divine consciousness.

11) Desires are your greatest enemy because they only multiply and create bondage. The mind that achieves true stillness transcends all desires and experiences the supreme power of spiritual realization.

12) Only when you have completely purified yourself through this inner work can you truly help others, including souls who have passed away. Your peace becomes a beacon that draws other souls seeking liberation from their own suffering.

Notes 14-Sep

 1. When there is any pain in physical body, you can do two things- mind it or not mind it. Minding it increases the pain and you suffer along with the body. Not minding the pain in the body makes you an observer of the pain in the body and the intensity of the pain reduces.

2. The "not minding" is a feeling which frees you from all feelings.  It frees you from all the likes and dislikes that comes from the mind.

3. Likes and dislikes are natural that comes from mind when there is negativity in it.

4. Just like evaporating sea water to get pure salt, we must heat the mind with tapas and all the negativities will be evaporated to get pure You.

5. Mind's natural quality is to attach to various things on earth. It creates happiness and sorrow.

6. Whoever allows material things to occupy the mind is a materialistic person.

7. Realising and accepting the truth as it reduces sufferings. We should not be too serious towards incidents/circumstances. One should introspect and check whether the level of seriousness is reducing.

8. Mukti is an individual experience. We must get mukti when we are living in this body itself. It is not possible to do so when we lose the body after death.

9. Intellect works beyond likes and dislikes. When we are free from negativities, intellect can work without any interference from the mind. Intellect is  from Parabrahma (Guru saakshaat parabrahma).

10. Intellect has the capacity to know what is right and wrong. Mind has likes and dislikes. Suppose a screen has to be put up, intellect knows that it needs a cloth. The mind which has likes/dislikes would like specific color/designs.

11. When we remove  the mind, all memories are lost hence suffering is also not there. Only mind memory is lost, whereas brain memory remains.

12. The energy drawing capacity is directly proportional to the love towards the Master.  If one can follow everything what Master tells, then one is loving the Master.

Notes 5 Sep

1) Meaning of 3 Gunas -Satva, Rajas and Tamo gunas and how it shapes the behaviour of human beings.

a. Satva -> Helps in  learning, getting knowledge  and gives clarity and focus. It is related to brain.

b. Rajas -> Helps to be active in doing the work and at times hyperactive and it is related to mind

c. Tamas-> Helps to get rest and it is related to soul

2) Excess satva guna can lead to increase the pride and ego (ahamkara).

3) To get nemmadi one should have the Tamasa guna.  It is the state of calmness, rest, and silence, where body and mind are rejuvenated, much like deep sleep.

4) Those gunas which are obstructing you to achieve nemmadi should be got rid off.

5) Bhagavanta sees everyone as equal and hence he always gives nothing which is common to everyone.

6) Giving rest is the work of the Bhagavanta. This is represented by Lord Ranganatha which is in sleeping form.

7) Giving rest is as important as action and thought. When one withdraws from activity and mental processes, the body regains strength to act again. This dormant state prepares one for spirituality, paving the way to self-realisation.

8) Knowing the original quality of soul (Stillness) is the realization.

9) Generally one gets sukha during various stages of work like while doing the work and after finishing the work. Whereas a realized person will always in Atmananda irrespective of the status of work.

10) Healthy mind represents absence of Gunas

11) How Chivam energy works in human mind is beyond our comprehension.
