 opic: Truth of Spiritual Practice

1. Spiritual practice is to know the truth that “I am nothing.” During the practice itself, one can experience nothingness.

2. Enlightenment is the state of nothingness.

3. We worry when something we dislike happens. For example, if our car breaks down, we worry. It is not the incident that makes us worry, but our attachment to it.

4. This attachment or feeling is imaginary.

5. We need an area to create this feeling or imagination. This area is called negativity. It is a platform. If one possesses no negativity, no feelings or imagination can exist.

6. The brain provides information and helps the mind in thinking. The mind makes the brain think.

7. When negativity is dissolved, the brain becomes independent of the mind.

8. Mind + Brain = Consciousness

9. The mind is divided into positive and negative. When the negative mind uses the brain, there will be imagination, but when the positive mind uses the brain, there will be no imagination. When negativity is lost, only truth remains.

10. When the negative mind is dissolved, what remains is the positive mind. This is called the soul. This is what we need to realize.

11. Spiritual practice is to transform the human mind into the Divine. When one becomes Divine, one can experience the condition called bliss.

12. Since we possess negativity, we call positive knowledge Gyana.

13. We possess the surface mind and the subconscious mind. When the surface mind (Ajna chakra to Anahata chakra) is cleansed, one attains the state of Atma or realizes God. When the subconscious mind (Anahata chakra to Muladhara chakra) is cleansed, one can become Chivam.

14. Realizing God is the first step toward becoming Xhivam.

15. Cleansing the subconscious mind is possible only with the help of Chivam’s energy.

16. The uniqueness of the Chivality system is the presence of a living Master. Here, everything is the Master. One has to accept Him wholeheartedly and remember Him constantly. By receiving His energy, one can get rid of negativity.

17. As we make progress, our desires, expectations, and other negative qualities reduce.

Notes 23 Nov

 1. God Within, Not Outside: Spirituality teaches that God resides within everyone. Those who look for God outside are religious, while spiritual people seek God within by purifying their mind.

2. Peace Through Silence: Peace is achieved through silence. If we can remain silent and not react, we are in peace. Reactions indicate a lack of inner peace.

3. Reaction vs. Peace: We can test our peace by observing how we react when we lose something or are cheated. True peace means no reaction to such situations.

4. The Role of Master: Remembrance of the Master, who is the source of energy, helps us stay silent and prevent the accumulation of negative emotions or thoughts.

5. Tolerance and Positivity: As we grow more positive, our tolerance increases. This leads to a more peaceful and non-reactive state of mind.

6. Purity and Silence: When we remain silent and non-reactive, we become pure. Being pure, we align more with the qualities of Shiva, who is non-reactive and at peace.

7. Dislike vs. Dislike of Quality: We must learn to separate the person from their qualities. For example, if we are upset with a vendor, it's the quality of their action (e.g., overpricing) we dislike, not the person.

8. No Harm, No Help: God, being energy, does not harm or help anyone directly. The more positive we become, the more we accept things as they are without reacting.

9. Understanding Positivity: Positivity comes with understanding our own reactions and not carrying grudges. It means being light, detached, and non-reactive, even when others scold us.

10. Tests of Positivity: The Master often tests disciples to gauge their positivity, particularly in challenging situations, where one must stay calm and act with compassion rather than emotional reaction.

11. Transformation Through Spirituality: Spirituality helps us shed emotions and human characteristics like anger and fear. A positive, spiritual person remains unaffected by illness, loss, or negative situations.

12. Mukti and God Within: The ultimate goal of spirituality is Mukti (liberation), which comes to those who attain positivity and purity. The key is realizing God resides within, and by traveling inward, one finds peace and happiness.

Notes 22 Nov

1.  One should know the answer to these questions- Why we joined together? What is our purpose??

2. Our group looks like 'Cult' where we have a specific goal that not everyone agrees with. The focus is to think and act differently inside, even if outwardly life looks ordinary.

3. When a problem arises, Many people turn to God or religious places for solutions, but this practice make us  face it directly rather than seeking external help.

4. The question arises: why don’t we go to God when others do ??

Since God is not outside we believe solutions do not come from God, solutions arise naturally and we have to accept it as it is.

5. Solutions arise on their own, and one must learn to accept reality as it is.

6.  Karma phala does not give solutions but only creates thoughts like why, how, where, when.

7. Karma phala belongs only to the mind, it does not operate in the material world, it stays within the mind and cannot go beyond it.

8. God and karma phala are within, not outside, developing the “God within” reduces and dissolves the effects of karma phala.

9. Karma phala causes fear, anxiety, sorrow, suffering, and attachment, so to remain unaffected by it, one must expand and strengthen the inner “God”

10. The inner God expands through silence, since God is silent, if we also remain inwardly silent, the God within grows and begins to dissolve negative karma phala.

11. Problems exist for everyone, but the difference lies in perception and how the mind interprets situations.

12. Karma phala is created by our reactions to situations, not by the situations themselves

13. Karma phala tries to control and direct our actions, but even when it influences us, we have to tolerate rather than suffer mentally.

14. The inner God supports positive thinking, and the highest form of positivity in this path is tolerance.

15. Tolerance is preferred over love, because love is an emotion, while tolerance is a stable inner quality that strengthens the mind

16. This practice is different because we are prepared to face and endure suffering, developing tolerance and avoiding reactive behavior.

Notes 16 Nov

Notes 16 Nov

 1) Spirituality is not easy. We have to leave this materialistic world and do tapas. Tapas creates heat, which destroys accumulated negativity.  Entire spiritual practice is to cleanse the negativity. Spirituality is to experience as Spirit.

2) Only when all accumulated negativity is removed, I can know, "Who am I?"

3)  Realization is reclaiming or realizing what I have lost, i.e., the purity of self.

4) For this realization to happen, we have to be positive all the times. Only by being positive can we retain the energy acquired during the practice.

5) To be positive, one has to increase the non reactiveness towards all situations in life.

6) Non reactiveness is when there is no reaction in mind towards any negative situations in life. Response towards the situation  can be done accordingly with the help of  the brain, but there must be no reaction in mind.

7) Ego is the power of mind. It  is the only power that helps us to do all things in this materialistic world. The ego ceases to exist only when one is  in complete silence. We have to practice this egoless condition so that the mind is not disturbed when  it leaves the body.

8) The negativity in the mind makes one to work without break. Therefore it is very important to remove all negativity and have a neutral ego before death.

9) Purity makes one to detach completely from this materialistic world. In this state one will be in Ananda and nothing can affect  in this world.

10) If one achieves purity, one realises that nothing is mine (Ex- house, money ). Even if house is destroyed there is no suffering.

11) The purity within can also make one to work or be in silence. In this condition if  one works OR not, one is not affected by the outcome and there is no pain. On the contrary humans with negativity feel the pain if work is not done.

12)  We have come to this world to experience. Experiences like happiness, sufferings, failures, disappointments etc exists only in the mind. It doesn't exist in the materialistic world.

13) When we achieve nothing in the mind, we will not take birth again as we don't experience pleasure or pain in this materialistic world.

14) Sat is purity, chit is mind. When purity is achieved in the mind, one experiences Ananda (Sachidananda- bliss).

15) When there is tightness in the mind, one cannot dance. If the mind is light, one can dance. As Shiva can dance ,he  is called as Nataraja.

16) There are different types of egos

16.1) Negative ego

16.2) Negative positive ego

16.3) Positive ego

16.4) Neutral ego

17) We practice Chivality to become positive and be free from pain in the mind.

18) One has to surrender to the personality who has achieved the divine condition to get purity.

Notes 14 Nov

 1.      For ordinary people it is difficult for their ego to become Anu (smallest).

2.      The question - who am I  is not for people who are deeply attached to the  materialistic life.

3.      One gets energy if they stop all the transactions and sit in silence. This energy will be useful for materialistic people.

4.      One has to introspect their changes from the practice every 5 years, 10 years etc.

5.      Who is an alone person? One who doesn’t have any thoughts.

6.      Everyone is connected to other through their thoughts and emotions.

7.      Through energy one will lose connection with the material world slowly.

8.      If you want your body to be soaked with sunshine, then you will have to remove the clothes. Similarly if you remove your thoughts, you will get the energy.

9.      If you get energy your ego  will become Anu (smallest particle- Atom)

10.  It is difficult for materialistic people to stop the work that is being done from morning to evening.

11.  You can tell the rules of the game if you are willing to play. If you are sitting in the fence, there is no point in telling the rules. Similarly rules have to be told for people who are willing to get mukti.

12.  Weight is big. If there is no weight it is small. Similarly no thoughts is no weight.

13.  One has to get rid of vichaara (thoughts) of  fear, shyness etc

14.  If you don’t decide for yourself, then the energy (It) decides.

15.  One has to leave everything which mind needs. One has to work only towards maintaining the body.

16.  After receiving energy, the desires will reduce. Even if one does not get back the money given, there will be no pain in the mind.

17.  The pain in the mind due to the thoughts will slowly reduce.

18.  If there is no negativity, then one will be prepared to do anything. Finally one becomes a ‘bindu’. If you become a ‘bindu’, then there will be vibrations coming from your mind. You will get help from others through these vibrations.

19.  First one should not be affected by the words of the society.

20.  Transformation should happen through the energy and not just by listening to Master’s words,

21.  When you don’t give value to anything in materialistic life, you are realized.

22.  If the mind is destroyed, then one  might be useless to the materialistic world.

23.  Spirituality is converting human to spirit.

Notes 9 Nov

1. Many of us do not truly know what real spirituality is.

2. We often say “God will protect us,” but how does this protection actually happen?

Suppose someone comes to hit me — protection can happen in two ways:

(a) The person does not hit me at all.

(b) Even if I get hit, I do not feel the effect of being hit.

3. For some problems, there may be solutions; for others, there may not be.

In cases where there is no solution, one should remain unaffected.

4. Divine protection means being relieved from the effect of pain or suffering — that is the real protection.

5. There is no connection between materialistic matters and Bhagavanta.

6. If there is suffering in the mind, it indicates the presence of impurity within.

7. The purity within you is called God. To experience God,  one must cultivate sufficient inner purity.

8. To reach the condition of Bhagavanta, one should not seek revenge through thought, word, or action (manasa, vacha, karmana).

9. Inner impurities make us react. They create desires and expectations — wanting respect, promotion, fame, good health, etc.

10. Human beings have emotions and feelings, and they suffer because of them.

11. In the material world, a person who remains unaffected may appear indifferent. People might even question, “Why are you not bothered?”

12. You can provoke a realized person to any extent, yet he will not get irritated.

13. One must have the courage to ask difficult questions.

14. When one attains the state of Bhagavanta, the perception becomes — “What has happened to tolerate?”

15. On the path of sadhana, tolerance gradually develops — starting from small incidents (like losing a pen or a few rupees).

16. If one still has a mind, one must learn to tolerate.

17. If the mind has been destroyed, there is no need for tolerance.

18. If there is impurity within, one will be drawn to impure circumstances.

19. God does not tell the Truth — one has to attain the Truth.

20. The purpose of sadhana is not merely to achieve shanti (peace) and samadhana (contentment), but to go beyond them.

21. Certain professions that require reaction — such as policing — may not align with a person of complete purity.

22. The human tendency is that once something is gained (beauty, power, money, health, etc.), it becomes difficult to let go.

23. The world exists only in your mind — because of your memory.

24. From the perspective of Bhagavanta, both the material world and the body are forms of impurity.

Notes 6 Nov

During the session, *Dorairaj D* shared the following reflections:

1. He spoke about his mental state before and after joining the *Chivality System.*

2. Earlier, Dorairaj used to worry a lot, suffer mentally, and live in constant fear. He also had superstitious beliefs.

3. He expressed his gratitude to *Ramesh Nivas* for introducing him to the Chivality System.

4. He has now developed the ability to view everything merely as an **incident**, without letting it affect his mind.

5. Earlier, he used to worry about the expenses of visiting *Mouna Mantapa*. Now, even if the travel is costly, it no longer disturbs his peace of mind.

6. After joining, he realized the true meaning of life, and all his fears have disappeared. He shared few learnings from the practice of Chivality.

6.1. To become *Shiva*, one must practice **detachment**.

6.2 . **Surrender** means having the feeling — “I want only Master and no one else.”

6.3. One can look upon the **Master as a father figure**.

6.4. To attain the state of *nothingness*, one should avoid **chinte** (worry).
