Notes 28 Aug

 1.      We should understand why we are taking this energy — it is for Mukti (liberation). Our mind should be prepared for liberation.

2.      The true purpose of human birth is liberation.

3.      One should not find faults, gossip, or pass comments about others, as it creates impressions.

4.      One should gradually move from negative to positive, and from positive to neutral.

5.      Normally, people go to God seeking benefits in life, but in our system we practice for liberation.

6.      One should keep liberation as the ultimate goal, and evaluate every work/activity. If it does not give spiritual progress, it should be shunned.

7.      One should practice speaking the truth and avoid assumptions. Both Satya (truth) and Dharma (righteousness) need to be followed.

8.      Speaking lies creates impressions.

9.      One should not give value to unnecessary thoughts.

10.  Generally, people come to spirituality when they face problems.

11.  To practice spirituality, one should question the status quo. Life is often seen as a cycle of birth, schooling, grades, job, marriage, kids, etc. — but one must reflect whether this is the true path or not.

12.  Whenever we do any work, we should think of it as the Master’s work.

Notes 26 Aug

1.       Ignore thoughts and remain in silence.

2.       In the present moment, do the work as if it is the Master’s work.

3.       One must follow whatever the Master instructs.

4.       Practice silence by minimizing the use of senses and the brain.

5.       There are two types of energy: mind energy (linked to emotions and analysis) and brain energy (used to receive information).

6.       With tapas, the power of thoughts diminishes.

7.       Do not give value to thoughts; focusing on them empowers them. Instead, think of the Master.

8.       Jiva Shakti is the power that enables action where as the energy helps in silencing the mind.

9.       When the mind becomes empty of everything, one becomes Shiva—where there is no experience.

Notes 24 Aug

 1)  If one takes rest and does the work, one will get the concentration.

2) Yoga nidra is the condition of God (In Ranganatha temple, you can see God being represented in sleeping mode). Similarly if one is in yoga nidra, God will be happy.

3) Being in silence is the condition of Atman. A person in Atman state will be in silence for 24 hrs.

4) You are doing all work for satisfaction. Happiness, satisfaction is the state of mind.

Even if one is active or not active, one should be always in contentment

4)  You are doing the work for maintaining the body.

5) Between God and myself there should not be any gap

Myself ---> Responsibilities/Prayers ---> God

If the mind has responsibilities and prayers, then it becomes a hindrance to reach God

6) Smallest God is Atman

Next stage of God is Brahman (Paramatma). Expanded Atman is Brahman.

Biggest God is Chivam or Vishnu

Atman (A) is available in Brahman (B)

Brahman (B) is available in Chivam (C)

Hence A= C

7) A satisfied mind will have no worries

8) Don't live for others, live for yourself

9) If you are in Brahman condition, you can put any vesha (Costumes or role). But still you are Brahman

10) Self realisation happens through perception, understanding, knowledge

11) Doing = Non doing

A realised person does work with no goal and just spending time.. He does the work simply.

12) A realised person will be like a machine. If you scold a machine, still the machine works. Divinity works without satisfaction.

13) One should take sittings and do sadhana by liking and not by force.

14) You should become smallest person. There will be no competition for smallest person. Go on praising others so that you become smallest.

15) Zero is the end not beginning

16) There are different levels of silence

a) Shanti -> With passing thoughts

b) Prashanti -> No thoughts and surrounding condition is peaceful.

c) Suprashanti-> Thoughtless irrespective of external surrounding.

d) Sarvashanti-> You will not know whether you are sitting or not.

17) Power of zero can be experienced and not seen.

18) Living dead condition means living and dead for the materialistic world.

19) Energy of brain is intellect.

20) When everything (Aavarana) is removed, you become Nirvana. Even the thinking of Lady/Gent is an Aavarana.

21) One should ultimately reach the condition of not having any perception.

22) There are two types of sleep a) Sleeping because of tiredness b) Spiritual sleep due to the relaxation of mind without any thoughts.

 NAMACHIVAAYAM 🌙

Chivasangh Observance on Sunday, Aug 17, 2025 at Mouna Mantapa

Master delivered a discourse, offering insights into the following:

Topic: What is the true purpose of spiritual practice, especially when you need Chivam energy?

1. The purpose of spirituality is not to gain anything, but to let go of what we have accumulated in our mind.

2. Why do we need a Guru? A Guru provides wisdom about what needs to be removed from the mind.

3. The human mind has a tendency to occupy itself with many things.

4. Objects, information, and thoughts, when combined, constitute what is called negativity.

5. We should strive to remove all negativity from the mind. If we are unable to recognize our own negative qualities, we should acknowledge them when others point them out.

6. When we practice with the intent of removing negativity, Chivam energy will help us.

7. A person who wants to get rid of his negativity is a positive person.

8. We don't get "something" from spirituality; we get "Nothing." Nothing creates Nothing. Chivam energy is Nothing (zero); it destroys everything in the mind and makes it Nothing, just like in mathematics, when we put something into zero, we get zero.

9. Chivam energy will help us go beyond the mind.

10. If one is able to experience Nothing within, it is a sign of progress in Chivality.

11. When you are not experiencing any qualities, you are experiencing 'Nothing.' Experiencing 'Nothing' is experiencing yourself.

12. "I" + qualities = human mind. When all the qualities are removed, only 'I' remains. This 'I' is known as Atman, a speck of Brahman. It experiences no qualities.

13. We practice Chivality to live well in the materialistic world by becoming 'Nothing.' When we do, we are unaffected by anything in this world and can live well here.

14. Today, we experience fear, anxiety, tension, stress, worries, boredom, and so on. As we progress, all negative qualities and traits gradually reduce, and when everything is completely removed from the mind, we are left with 'No-thing.'

15. If one is able to experience 'Nothing' often, then one is progressing towards 'Nothing.'

16. The pleasant state that 'Nothing' gives is incomparable to anything. When one experiences 'Nothing,' they will ask only for 'Nothing.' In olden days, people went to Lord Shiva to ask only for 'Nothing.'

17. Silence is the medium through which 'Nothing' is transferred to others. For the receiver to experience 'Nothing,' they should have no thoughts. To reduce thoughts, one should practice silentation more. Gradually, as thoughts reduce, one will be able to experience 'Nothing.'

18. God is Nothing, or Zero. Zero is both the beginning and the end. Mathematically speaking, numbers start from zero, and when anything is multiplied by zero, it leaves us with zero.

19. Progress is measured by how much our negative qualities are reducing. Ultimately, they should become zero.

20. The Soul is Zero. 'You' are traveling towards the 'Zero.' The Soul does not travel; it is sthirah, achanchala, and sthanu.

21. Only a person who has attained 'Nothing' can help others attain it.

22. Out of all negative qualities, desire is the most troublesome. Desires are unnecessary, but needs are necessary.

23. One can depend on the materialistic world only for the body, not for the mind. When the mind is dependent on the materialistic world, it suffers after death.

24. 'Nothing' can protect your mind, while something can protect your body. After death, we no longer require something, and 'Nothing' will help. 'Nothing' helps us both during life and in the afterlife.

25. When everything is removed from the mind, the 'Nothing' that remains is 'You,' the God (Aham Brahmasmi). Today, we are unable to experience this due to the negativity we possess in the mind.

26. Master's energy helps us realize our true self as 'Nothing.'

27. Confidence that comes from the 'Self' is called self-confidence.

28. Just as we say 'Yes' assertively, we should also learn to say 'No' assertively to anything that does not help us become 'Nothing.' 'No' is the strength of 'Nothing.'

29. Sadhana should never be done by force, but with a full heart and willingness, as it helps us remove karmaphala.

The Chivasangh concluded with Shantivachana.

Thank you

Message 8th Aug -no. 9

 *Friday Spiritual Msg No:09*

In Chivality practice, Masterfullness means keeping the Master in your heart all the time — not just thinking about the Master occasionally, but letting the Master’s presence fill your inner space as a constant background awareness.

It’s a state where:

You remember the Master without prejudice — meaning without doubts, expectations, or mental debates.

The Master’s energy flows to you naturally through that remembrance, helping to dissolve thoughts and negativity.

Your connection to the Master becomes continuous, like an unbroken inner link.

Over time, this state deepens until remembrance becomes effortless and silent — and eventually, even remembrance dissolves into stillness.

It’s like holding a candle in a dark room — as long as it stays lit (remembrance), darkness (negativity, mental noise) has no place to enter.

*Here’s how Masterfullness develops step-by-step in Chivality practice:*

*1. Initial Stage – Intentional Remembrance*

You consciously remember the Master at intervals during the day.

You may look at the Master’s photograph or recall His presence in Mouna Mantapa to bring the mind back.

This remembrance is active effort — you choose to do it.

*Effect:* The Master’s energy begins touching you, slowly reducing mental chatter and negativity.

*2. Strengthening the Link – Frequent Return*

You catch yourself when the mind wanders and gently return to the Master again and again.

The gaps without remembrance become shorter.

The Master’s energy starts to flow more continuously, cleansing deeper layers of negativity.

*Effect:* You feel lighter, more peaceful, and less reactive in daily life.

*3. Continuous Awareness – Background Presence*

Remembrance shifts from effort to a natural background state, like soft music playing in your mind all the time.

Even during activities, the Master is quietly “there” in your awareness.

*Effect:* Negativity struggles to enter; thoughts lose their grip.

*4. Effortless Abidance – Living in the Master*

There’s no need to “remember” — you simply are with the Master all the time.

This is the pure state of Masterfullness — the heart and mind are saturated with the Master’s presence.

*Effect:* Deep stillness, mental silence, and a constant flow of positive energy.

*5. Beyond Remembrance – Stillness Itself*

Even the concept of “Master” disappears; you and the Master are not two.

Remembrance has dissolved into pure Silentation — the mind is free of movement.

*Effect:* Liberation while living (Jeevanmukthi), freedom from both thoughts and the need to remember.

📌 In short:

Remembrance → Continuous Presence → Masterfullness → Stillness → Liberation
