Notes 16 Nov
1) Spirituality is not easy. We have to leave this materialistic world and do tapas. Tapas creates heat, which destroys accumulated negativity. Entire spiritual practice is to cleanse the negativity. Spirituality is to experience as Spirit.
2) Only when all accumulated negativity is removed, I can know, "Who am I?"
3) Realization is reclaiming or realizing what I have lost, i.e., the purity of self.
4) For this realization to happen, we have to be positive all the times. Only by being positive can we retain the energy acquired during the practice.
5) To be positive, one has to increase the non reactiveness towards all situations in life.
6) Non reactiveness is when there is no reaction in mind towards any negative situations in life. Response towards the situation can be done accordingly with the help of the brain, but there must be no reaction in mind.
7) Ego is the power of mind. It is the only power that helps us to do all things in this materialistic world. The ego ceases to exist only when one is in complete silence. We have to practice this egoless condition so that the mind is not disturbed when it leaves the body.
8) The negativity in the mind makes one to work without break. Therefore it is very important to remove all negativity and have a neutral ego before death.
9) Purity makes one to detach completely from this materialistic world. In this state one will be in Ananda and nothing can affect in this world.
10) If one achieves purity, one realises that nothing is mine (Ex- house, money ). Even if house is destroyed there is no suffering.
11) The purity within can also make one to work or be in silence. In this condition if one works OR not, one is not affected by the outcome and there is no pain. On the contrary humans with negativity feel the pain if work is not done.
12) We have come to this world to experience. Experiences like happiness, sufferings, failures, disappointments etc exists only in the mind. It doesn't exist in the materialistic world.
13) When we achieve nothing in the mind, we will not take birth again as we don't experience pleasure or pain in this materialistic world.
14) Sat is purity, chit is mind. When purity is achieved in the mind, one experiences Ananda (Sachidananda- bliss).
15) When there is tightness in the mind, one cannot dance. If the mind is light, one can dance. As Shiva can dance ,he is called as Nataraja.
16) There are different types of egos
16.1) Negative ego
16.2) Negative positive ego
16.3) Positive ego
16.4) Neutral ego
17) We practice Chivality to become positive and be free from pain in the mind.
18) One has to surrender to the personality who has achieved the divine condition to get purity.
